Islamorada Offshore Fishing

Fishing the Blue Water

Offshore fishing in Islamorada is built around long runs, open-water strategy, and the pelagic species that travel the edge of the Gulf Stream. These trips cover more ground than inshore charters and often combine trolling, live baiting, and working structure depending on conditions. The captain plans the day around current, water color, temperature breaks, and seasonal movement of fish, with the goal of putting you in productive water and keeping you there. It’s a fast-paced, high-energy style of fishing with the potential for bigger fish, stronger fights, and steady action throughout the day.
