Cancellation Policy

A Fishing Guru Cancellation Policy

At A Fishing Guru, we require a 50% deposit to secure your premium guided fishing tour reservation. All cancellations must be made in writing via email or our booking portal. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days. This policy is subject to Florida law and may be updated with notice.

  • Cancellations 30+ Days Prior to Tour Date: Full refund of deposit, minus a $50 processing fee.
  • Cancellations 15-29 Days Prior to Tour Date: 50% refund of deposit (i.e., half your deposit is forfeited).
  • Cancellations 7-14 Days Prior to Tour Date: Deposit is fully forfeited, but no additional charges apply.
  • Cancellations Less Than 7 Days Prior, Including No-Shows: Full tour price is charged (deposit forfeited, and balance due if not prepaid).
  • Company-Initiated Cancellations: If we cancel due to weather, safety, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
  • Exceptions: We may offer flexibility for documented emergencies (e.g., medical issues) at our discretion, but this is not guaranteed. No refunds for changes in group size or personal circumstances unless specified.
  • Weather Policy: Tours proceed rain or shine unless the captain deems conditions unsafe. Refunds/rescheduling only apply to captain cancellations.
